The mighty Adolph Bermpohl was a 26m rescue sea cruiser built by the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard in Lemwerder for the German Society for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked. Built in 1965 and baptized on the 23rd of October 1965, she served at the DGzRS station Helgoland until May 1979 when she was replaced by the sea cruiser Wilhelm Kaisen. After her replacement the Bermpohl was stationed in List of Sylt until her final retirement in May of 1989, her successor being the Mindin sea cruiser.
Based on original documentation of the German Society for the Rescue of the Shipwrecked, Graupner has beautifully recreated this magnificant vessel in a 1:22 scale. Complete with functioning daughter ship, the Vegesack. This classic model comes with three motors preinstalled and ready to power you through your favourite body of water, a control servo and a servo to actuate the stern hatch. The seperately controlled and equally beautiful, scale Vegesack comes with a motor and control servo preinstalled and ready to recreate historic rescue missions.
